Leather Stiletto boots and Motorcycling?
This may seem like a very stupid question, but I was wondering if someone can successfully ride a motocycle while wearing knee long leather Stiletto boots without any problems or difficulties? It sounds rather dangerous, but I suppose it is possible… or is it just "movie magic"?

im guessing this isnt a sport bike..eh…it would look sexy, but make sure your heel doesnt get stuck in between the pipes and stuff…it can be pulled off.
Anything is possible. But when riding, the heels takes lot of weight. So wearing stiletto would eventually cause the rider to drop the bike.

You can ride a bike wearing anything from shorts and flip flops to a spacesuit…..in fact people DO wear shorts and flip-flops in lots of countries I’ve been to.
The questions are how easy it is and how safe it is.
Shorts and flip-flops are easy but not safe….end of that subject.
High healed boots?……probably not easy, bike boots are flat soled for a reason.
The part of the sole that sits on the foot peg to allow the toe of the boots to change gear and brake is exactly the same part that you won’t have because it’s cut away to provide the upsweep for the heel.
As for being safe?…..they won’t be proper bike boots made of high quality leather with the exposed joint of your ankle reinforced so while I guess it’s better than riding in flip-flops that’s about as good as I could say.
People do lots of things in films that don’t quite work out in the real world.
I’m 5ft 1 and according to lots of films I’ve seen I should be beating the crap out of guys twice my size while wearing just the same stiletto boots you describe….problem is I can’t walk in the damn things never mind be a karate expert.
And have you ever noticed that nobody ever goes to the bathroom in a film?……the hero can spend days chasing the bad guys and nobody ever needs to stop for a piss.

Forget Hollywood, stick to leather jeans and bike boots, they look sexy enough on a female.
In a couple of hours time I’ll be out there in what looks to be a glorious, sunny day wearing exactly that and looking good.

Looks great in tv & magazine ads but in the the real world of biking it is highly impractical if not dangerous. If you are intent upon the stilettos and bike, pack them along and throw em’ on quickly when you get off the putt.
It’s possible, but VERY unsafe…It’s not a stupid question…The stupid thing would be to actually do it…
I don’t know about you, but when I put my foot down at a stop, I use my heel first to balance, Think about whether you want to look sexy, or ride to stay alive! P.S. no such thing as a stupid question.

it can be done however, it depends on the style bike and position of the foot pegs. if you are riding a harley with chrome exhusts, a hazard is the fact that when you step off, you will see that the exhust pipes have burned your beautiful angelina jolie mrs. smith heals in to a gooey nasty mess
If they have sufficient flexibility, to shift gears on the left side, and to press the brake pedal on the right it is theoretically possible, but I don’t recommend it. It would take a great deal of practise, and would probably be unsafe, even at that.
