problem is i have big calves (16.5 – 17 inches)..and most sexy boots stop at 15-16 inches…
i have small feet 5.5-7 (i’ll work with it, depending how cute the shoes are)

How far into the season do you wear skirts and boots? You wear them if it is in the 70s, but if it is really warm like 80s – opt for heels? I can see these working for the evenings very well when it is cooler.

For halloween this year I am dressing up as a construction worker, being that I am a secretary at a construction office I thought it’d be cute. Well anyway, I can pretty much put together my outfit buying everything separate, short jean shorts, plaid/flannel shirt, tool bags, etc. The only problem I am having is finding cute boots to complete the look. I have a picture of what I want (see below) but I can’t seem to find them anywhere. I would even settle for just nice tan lace up boots that look similar but all the ones I found have fur at the top which I don’t want. Anyone know where I would be able to find those boots below or ones similar or ones that would look cute? Thanks in advance

I love cowboy boots, but I can never show them off if they’re being worn over my jeans.
I don’t like the way skinny jeans feel, so I can’t tuck them in. (tucked in boots and reg. jeans don’t work)
I’ve seen some girls really pull off shorts & boots, but I’ve heard a lot of people detest that look so I’m iffy.
